Back Pain
Why is back pain a “bad” thing?
Pain is always a warning sign that something is wrong.
The goal is to eliminate the “thing” that is pushing the pain sensor buttons. Like most diseases of the body, if the underlying cause is ignored or “unfixed”, then the back disease and pain will continue. The nerves of the back can become permanently damaged. There are associated mental issues of living with chronic pain, expenses of on-going treatments, and even surgery that don’t provide the expected relief. One’s quality of life becomes severely affected and it gets to the point where it seems like there is no point to live in so much pain.
What is the best form of treatment?
An on-line search of back pain will take you down an expensive path of all kinds of remedies, from pills to gadgets to nerve stimulators and the list goes on and on.
There are more than 70,000 licensed chiropractors in the USA whose primary role is to “adjust” that misaligned back. There are no studies that show anyone ever gets “cured” from their misaligned backs after decades of adjustments. Eventually, a point is reached when the pain is so intense that an appointment is made for back surgery. Many people are helped by back surgery but it isn’t always the final solution.
There seems to be a missing piece of the treatment-puzzle of back pain. Treatments are focused on symptom relief or short-term re-alignment while little to no attention is directed to eliminating the underlying cause of spine misalignment.
The connection between hindfoot alignment and back pain has long been established. In fact, a leading source of revenue generation at a chiropractor’s office is selling arch supports to help spine alignment.
The reason why the foundation joint of the body, found between the ankle and heel bones, becomes misaligned is due to the partial dislocation of the ankle bone on the heel bone. This is the starting point of back misalignment. There will be a chain reaction from the ankle bone to the neck when the ankle bone partially dislocates on the heel.
The ankle bone slides downward, forward, and tilts outward.
This drops the leg bone down from the pelvis forcing the pelvis to tilt. This places a twist on the spine. There is always mention that the muscles on one side of the spine are weaker than the other side. What is actually occurring is the muscles that are contracted are being forced to contract as a nerve reaction to an abnormal tilt of the pelvis. The side of the pelvis that is lower will stretch the ligaments. Within the ligaments are stretch receptors that are signaled when there is too much strain on the ligament.
A tilt of the pelvis leads to a small curvature within the spine. This is the misaligned spine. This places an uneven pressure within the cushion of tissue between the spine bones. Eventually, this develops into a herniated disc. The ligaments that connect bone to bone will pull on the lining of the bones growing a bone spur. The spur will continue to grow. If the ligaments keep pulling on the bone and the nerves coming out of the spine become pinched, this is called spinal stenosis.
When enough tissue damage is caused between the two spine bones, vertebrae, a decision is made to remove the joint and fuse the two bones.
Results are usually good for a while; the only issue is that there is a possibility that further surgery will be required. The underlying issues that lead to the joint disease are still actively present and the motion that should be occurring in the joint that was removed, now has to be compensated for in the joints above and below. That means there will be extra-motion there. There is a pretty good chance the adjacent joints will also have to be fused, typically within 10 years or so.
It seems like the first place to begin treatment is at the root-cause, the partially dislocating ankle bone. HyProCure is the proven method that internally stabilizes the ankle and heel bones while allowing a normal range of motion. Arch supports, stretching, muscle strengthening, and anything else you can think of cannot achieve the same results of HyProCure. The foundation of the body has to be re-established before any other treatment can have a lasting effect.
Currently, there are no studies that show the insertion of HyProCure will cure your back pain but the proof is there that HyProCure can and will realign and stabilize the ankle bone. So, it makes total sense that this option should have a positive effect in the treatment of back pain.
